Tobacco pipe made of clay with figural bowl, without heel and up going stem with stub. Bowl head of a man with opened mouth between ears of corn and flowers, smoke channel from bowl rim to the open mouth. Stem right embossed "A. CRETAL E. GALLARD RENNES", stem left "BREVETES S.G.D.G. 462" (Sans Garantie du Gouvernement, without government guarantee). Painted enamel eyes and eyebrows. Original brass lid with button on a brass bowl rim. |
