Tobacco pipe made of slip cast clay with hollow-walled figural bowl, without heel and ascending plug in stem. Bowl head of a negro with short frizzy hair. Transparent glaze with strong hairlines. Original mounting with silver ferrule marked with "STERLING SILVER" and black hard rubber stem.
