Description:

Tobacco pipe made of porcelain with pear-shaped bowl, round base and rising stem with stub. Bowl front handpainted bouquet with three roses in yellow and purple, the sides with leafwork and some smaller flowers. Under the bowl opening geometric band in rococo style in gold leaf. Bowl rear and stem flowers. Original mounting with silver lid with serrated edge, open sawn flap with suns and leaves, a leaf pattern on the closure and an embossed flower centred on the lid. Silver cuff ring with serrated edge and lock chain with locking ring. Originally turned buffalo horn stem with thickened part, disc shape and curved mouthpiece with button.
