Description:

Tobacco pipe made of meerschaum with cylindrical bowl with outstanding bowl opening, round base without heel and ascending stem widening to cuff, a band or bridge fom the stub to the bowl half height. Bowl front carved to the left Napoleon on horseback with a standing soldier with a raised gun in front. Mounting with silver valve cover with wide flat bowl rim and cylindrical valve with holes and stamped bands in relief of floral motifs and leaves, s-shaped clamp spring. Bowl opening silver hall mark "IU", unreadable mark and Dutch control stamp "ZI". Silver cuff band, cut open at the top of the bridge.

De omgaande ring over de steel is van een wonderlijke imperfectie omdat deze niet rond is, dit houdt verband met de brug tussen manchet en steel die doorgaand draaiwerk onmogelijk maakt.
