Tobacco pipe or presentation piece of clay with figural bowl, heel and short straight stem with a straight cut end. Bowl shape curved showing the portrait of Stadholder-King William III with long hair in locks, a simple crown with thirteen points on his head, a jabot with striped begin ending in lace, a smooth coat of arms at the top. Stem end incised, heel pierced. Basic shape printed in a two-part mould, details added by hand. |
