Description:
Tobacco pipe made of wood with figural bowl, round underside without heel and rising stem without stub. Bowl head of a man with a small mustache and goatee, tonsure on the back of the head, a hemispherical hat with a curved tip and three whimsical curled edges, secured with a silver chain, a simple knotted scarf with a bow on the front. Eyes with glass inlaid, the teeth mother-of-pearl. Bowl internally covered with sheet iron. Stem end silver manchette with stem holder and locking ring. |
